The City of Littleton is working with a design consultant, C+B Design, to facilitate a consensus based direction for signage and wayfinding for the Mary Carter Greenway Trail and South Platte Park, along the South Platte River.  The process will also include vehicular signage along Mineral Avenue identifying the Mary Carter Greenway Trail, South Platte Park and the Carson Nature Center.

 

We are in the preliminary design and feedback phase and need your opinions on the types, styles and location of signs and accessories.

 

Please review the following three sign designs under consideration and place in order of preference and if you care to, please note what you liked (or didn't like) about the signs in the comment section.  Disregard the "place your dot here" section as these graphics were used for a trail user survey in late October.  Please note: this is only one style of sign and that the result of this effort will be a sign master plan will be developed and based upon the selected design.  It is also likely that the final design will blend the most-liked elements from each sign.

 

Implementation of the new signage is expected to start in 2015.
