Following an extensive process, the Littleton City Council adopted the Citywide Plan. It is the city’s primary long-range planning document and contains directives for guiding the community’s future. Later plans will provide more detailed direction for how the city’s evolution will proceed. This includes plans for neighborhoods, corridors, and activity areas. Activity areas are centers of significant potential activity and may overlap corridor and neighborhood boundaries. On figure E from the comprehensive plan below activity areas are designated by green circles and blue lines designate corridors.
There are three activity areas along the Broadway corridor to consider. Let us know what your vision for the activity areas might be. Would you want to see an improved pedestrian/bike environment and/or new public spaces? What kind of retail, services or housing opportunities might be desired? What is important for the community's future in this area? Look 5, 10 or 15 years into the future. Be visionary in your thoughts and comments.
