I think one of the beautiful and unique things about Jackass Hill Park is that it offers a rustic / low key place to hang out and enjoy the surroundings. It's Littleton's miniature Daniel's Park. We have tons of parks in Littleton that offer balls fields, playgrounds, picnic shelters, etc. In my opinion, over-programming the space would compromise its uniqueness and its charm, and could risk turning it into "just another park" (albeit with an amazing view).
Improvements should focus on better connections to nearby neighborhoods/trails, and better circulation within the park (maintained crushed granite paths, for instance). If community consensus points to more significant changes, I would prefer to see programming more informal in nature - seating areas, a community garden, maybe a small turf field where people could bring a volleyball net or set up an informal game of wiffle ball. But please, whatever you do, don't ruin the views, and don't turn it into "just another park".
