Jackass Hill Park is a gem in the community! The community efforts of the “Jackass Hill Gang” that more than 20 years ago preserved the natural open space should be respected now and in the future. Natural areas close to home provide a multitude of benefits and should not be overlooked for more active recreation options. Natural areas in our community parks, including open space with native plants, provide important wildlife habitat close to home; create opportunities for children to enjoy and learn about nature; and increase connectivity.
