I would like to see much of the natural environment maintained, but with a couple of enhancements. It would be nice to have some trees for shade and a few benches along walking paths and perhaps a picnic table or two (but no pavilions). As an older adult with some physical limitations, I would appreciate maintaining the open space as an inviting, accessible place for peaceful walks, impromptu small gatherings of neighbors and friends, and for enjoying the views from an extraordinary place. But I would also like to see some/much of the space remain truly "open" for kite flying, viewing the night sky (and fireworks), the occasional wedding, etc. And while I don't engage in yoga, it is always heartwarming to see someone at the edge of the big drop-off in the terrain peacefully doing their yoga positions, doubtless absorbed in the grounding tranquility that nature has to offer. I never want to lose that. Please protect the essence and the soul of our very special park.
