    • Other - I feel pretty safe when walking, running and cycle through this corridor. Minor issues with 3 spots that I think can easily be made better. I will detail below
  • Please describe in detail any safety concerns you have, including locations when possible.

Top of Jack Ass Hill—crossing to or from High Line. The visibility coming up the hill is horrible.
The light at the Highline and canal and Mineral is hard for cars to see traveling Westbound. I always wait until cars stop to go; the duration of the walk signal helps with this.

  • Which improvements to the transportation system would entice you to walk or bike to transit or your destination more often instead of driving? (Select all that apply)
    • Safer crossings at intersections
    • Other - Moving the crosswalk on Jack Ass Hill further down the road (toward Heritage) and putting a sidewalk on the east side would make the crossing from JA park to the HC safer. That or a pedestrian signal. Better lights at HC and Mineral (

Please do not pave the Mineral Path. It is a beautiful stretch and easy to navigate on any kind of bike

If you are interested in participating in this short videoconference, please indicate your interest below to receive an invitation once the date and time are set.

After summiting the survey here, please note location-based comments regarding existing safety concerns or other existing transportation issues and make suggestions for specific improvements on this comment map. An additional link to the. comment map can be found in the introduction.
